Please vote on which picture you like best for the back cover of my new book

So, Crystal Bach took this awesome picture and it will be cropped and used on the front cover of my book.  I think she did a GREAT job. Her website is www.crystalbachphotography.com.

Here is where I need your help. I am trying decide which picture to use for the BACK cover of my book.  Juanita Whitecar took these yesterday over her lunchbreak. She also did a fabulous job. They feature my little boy, Drew and Garett Gilkey, the college student/NFL prospect who lives in our basement. He's 6 foot 7 and weighs 320 lbs.  Drew weighs about 35 lbs!  I've narrowed these pictures down to just a few.  Please let me know which one you like best.  Remember the name of my book is Am I Beautiful? Am I Something?  The "Am I Something" part is the "guys" side of the book which will correspond with the back picture.

I have labeled them with a number.  Please indicate which number you like best.  You can respond below through my blog, through Facebook, e-mail, text, however. Thanks for your help with this.

Blessings, Charlie

My interview with Miss Nebraska 2012, Ms. Mariah Cook

Here is a link to a 22 minute interview with Mariah Cook, Miss Nebraska 2012.  We are discussing how the media puts unfair pressure on women to live up to a certain body size and look.  We also discussed beauty from a biblical standpoint.  It doesn't take long to download. I welcome your comments. Enjoy. https://www.box.com/s/5ee8c712df19e9eef9b5

My interview with two Godly mentors to women on the subject of beauty

I had the privilege two nights ago to interview Libby Badon of Mobile, AL and Karla Inman of Vancouver, WA about the subject of women and beauty. The video from skype did not turn out well but I've posted a link to the audio (MP3) below. It's 35 minutes and worth every second for any girl or woman who would like to learn from a couple of wise women on this subject.

I'm writing another book, due out in November!

Hey everyone! I'm writing my second book and it will focus on the two biggest obsessions men and women have: am I good enough? and am I beautiful! I would like to thank everyone who participated in the survey on beauty. Here are some screen shots of the results from Survey Monkey. Click on each one to enlarge it. It appears that the average person who took this survey was in her 30s, married and with children. I was surprised that significantly more women compare themselves to their friends than to celebrities and models. Not surprisingly, weight was the number one physical thing that women would like to change about themselves. 65% of the respondents questioned their own beauty from 1 to 3 times a day and 21% 4 to 7 times a day. And one other thing that is huge: three quarters of all the women surveyed indicated that having a healthy relationship with mom and dad is "very important" in order for a girl to develop a healthy view of her own beauty! I'm going to be using some of this data in my book. If you would like a preview copy of it, please let me know in the comment box below and give me your e-mail address or friend me on Facebook. Below are the actual results from the survey (except answers from question 9):

Several small groups are starting to use "Delight" for their Bible Study!

I am honored and humbled by the number of small groups who are starting to use the material from my book for their Bible Study! I welcome any feedback--good or bad--and welcome new ways to improve the material for later editions.

I am also praying for all of you who are learning to delight in the Lord. It's an ongoing process indeed!

God is good!
